We met in 2021 through Hope’s brother, and from the very beginning, something about each other just felt different. What started as a simple connection quickly turned into a few years of going back and forth — a little bit of “right person, wrong timing” and a whole lot of chasing, patience, and growing.

From Richard’s side, he’ll tell you he knew early on — that Hope was the one he was going to marry and the one he wanted to build a life and family with. And while it took Hope a little longer to fully come around, she’ll tell you there was a moment she knew too — when she said, “Even if I never wanted kids… if I ever did, I’d want Richard to be their dad.” That was it.

After years of finding their way back to each other, they finally chose each other for good — no more back and forth, just forward. Not long after, life surprised them in the best way, and they found out they were expecting their greatest blessing.

Now their world is filled with so much love (and a little chaos) thanks to their son, Dax — the absolute center of their hearts — and their first baby, MJ, who started it all. What began as a love story between two people has grown into a family.

Through every season, Richard has loved Hope fully and intentionally — always pursuing her, always showing up, and always reminding her what real love looks like. And Hope has been his calm, his home, and the person who makes everything in life feel worth it.

From a nervous first date and a smile that brought instant peace, to building a life they once only talked about, their story has never been perfect, but it’s always been theirs.
